Usage of gas phase liquid nitrogen tank


1. The amount of liquid nitrogen to be filled in the gas-phase liquid nitrogen tank for the first time should not exceed the tray. After the tank is completely cold through, add the liquid nitrogen to the set height, and then stand for 24 hours after the completion of liquid supplement. After the tank temperature is uniform, the storage sample can be put into storage.

2. Because of the large diameter of the container, the cold air at the mouth of the container will contact with the outside air when the cover is opened, which will cause the water vapor in the air to condense into fog, which will hinder the sight line. 3. Washing and drying of gas phase liquid nitrogen tank After a long-term use of the gas-phase liquid nitrogen tank, the moist gas inside gradually accumulates into ice particles and adheres to the wall of the container. In addition, the straws and debris falling to the bottom of the container will gradually increase, which will adversely affect the stored biological products. Therefore, it is necessary to wash the container and remove the impurities. The washing cycle of the gas-phase liquid nitrogen tank is generally 1-2 The washing cycle can be determined by users. Before washing, the pipette or ammonia bottle stored in the container should be transferred to other containers, and the liquid nitrogen should be drained out, and the tank should be restored to normal temperature. When washing, the container can be placed horizontally, and the tray and bottom of the container can be cleaned with detergent solution. After cleaning, the residual water can be wiped with towel. Then, the hot gas (the temperature is not higher than 50 ℃) is blown into the container from the liquid inlet port of liquid nitrogen for drying.

4. Hardware equipment connection and operation

1) for the connection between self pressurized vessel or cryogenic pipeline and gas phase liquid nitrogen tank, one end of liquid nitrogen delivery pipe is connected to the joint at the back of liquid nitrogen biological container, and the other end is connected to self pressurized container or low temperature pipeline. The input pressure of liquid nitrogen container shall not exceed 0.2MPa.

Vi. precautions for safe operation and common faults

1. The container is a high vacuum product, so care should be taken to avoid collision during transportation, installation and use.

2. When filling liquid nitrogen for the first time, a small amount of liquid nitrogen (about 100L) should be filled for precooling, and then the liquid nitrogen should be filled after approaching the heat balance (the gasification is not violent).

3. Skin contact with liquid nitrogen will cause frostbite. The following points should be paid attention to during operation: (1) epithelial gloves must be worn and hands and feet should not be exposed;

(2) do not wear long shoes to avoid liquid nitrogen falling into the shoes;

(3) do not touch the low-temperature parts such as the rotary handle and neck mouth with bare hands. It is better to use other tools when rotating the rotary handle;

(4) filling liquid nitrogen should be carried out in a well ventilated place. If it is carried out indoors, the doors and windows should be opened to avoid asphyxia caused by lack of oxygen.
